Message So last night I jumped in the car to go run an errand, turned the key and instead of starting right up as usual, I hear the starter crank and half way through everything just abruptly stopped before the engine had a chance to turn over. There was absolutely no power in the car whatsoever.

After waiting for a bit, I tried jump-starting the car. This didn't work.

Next, I noticed the lights in the cabin were somewhat dim. When i stepped on the brake pedal, everything got very dim.

When turning the key to the on position (before starting) I hear a buzzing sound from under the dash (not the starter relay). When trying to actually start, I then hear the relay chatter. It does this even when my battery charger is connected in jump mode.

I tested the battery. It checks out at 12.3 V.

Also, the chimes of the car when the door is open and key is in, starts to fade and make odd sounds as if the battery is nearly dead but this isn't the case.

It seems the main power from the battery is not making it through the rest of the car or something. Is there a secondary relay I should check aside from the starter relay? I've ruled out the starter relay by testing it with one from my other Z.

This is puzzling, so any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
